Yes. Frameshelf is fully local — your videos and metadata never leave your machine. There's no cloud sync and no account required. Remote access (Pro + Remote) is an opt-in feature you control.
mp4 and webm play directly in the in-app player. Other formats open in your system's default local player with a single click, so nothing is ever out of reach.
Yes. Frameshelf can import your existing Video Hub App library so you don't lose your ratings, tags, and organization when you switch.
Not yet. Frameshelf is Windows-only today, with macOS planned. We're honest about it — buy for Windows now and Mac support is on the roadmap.
Frameshelf uses a local index with cached thumbnails and metadata, so opening a 100,000-video library takes roughly 150ms. Browsing, filtering, and hover-scrub all stay responsive because the work happens locally.
